Founded in 1993, the company is one of the UK’s leading licensed dismantlers and recyclers of commercial truck parts, offering a wide range of new, used and reconditioned DAF parts.
James Harris acquired 50% of the shares of the company in 2011, with a view to growing the business with the existing shareholder at that time. James said, “Whilst we did grow the business over several years, our goals and expectations as shareholders grew apart.”
James found himself with a deadlocked company with no mechanism to resolve disputes between equal shareholders. He added, “As our relationship as shareholders had broken down, I was not able to negotiate a solution with my fellow shareholders. I knew Richard from past dealings with Watersheds and was confident that he had the character and expertise required to find a solution that worked for both parties.”
