Founded in 1998, Watkins is a specialist provider of industrial and commercial heating and cooling equipment rental services. Based in Lydney, Gloucestershire, and with depots across the UK, Watkins supplies heaters, steam and water boilers, air handlers and chillers to a wide variety of blue chip clients. Its Events division supplies equipment to major international events, including the 2012 London Olympics.
Watersheds was engaged by Paul O’Kelly to help him find a business where he could add real value and deliver significant growth. This deal gives new investment to Watkins Hire to both fund expansion of its Hire Fleet and to invest in its engineering, operational and service infrastructure. Watersheds introduced Paul having identified Watkins Hire as a great match for his skills and experience. Watersheds helped Paul to find the right structure and investment partner to complete the investment and take the business forward.
