Having grown organically for a number of years, the Directors of ITS wanted to accelerate the process by making a strategic acquisition. Watersheds was appointed to deliver this programme and started by sourcing suitable targets that would add real value to ITS’s operations. Watersheds was soon able to identify and introduce several businesses that closely matched the acquisition criteria. For ITS, it was important that Watersheds found companies that offered real synergies, where the owners had a genuine reason to sell and at a fair price. After a number of meetings, the Directors of ITS selected their preferred acquisition target, 1st Solution. Watersheds used its expertise to negotiate the terms and structure of the transaction and then project manage the process, working alongside ITS’ other advisors, through to a mutually successful completion.

ITS provide 24/7 national and international IT support for businesses, as well as offering IT consultancy, project work and cloud-based solutions. Their mantra is “if technology isn’t making your business more productive, more efficient and more profitable then it is not doing its job”.
