People make money out of deals. If you have made money out of a transaction then we would like to talk to you about Watersheds Equity Group.
We often find that people do not want to retire just because they have become wealthy. Watersheds is in a pivotal position to introduce opportunities to successful people who share our enthusiasm for business.
Such as:
- Becoming a non executive director of an SME. Frequently when we complete a management buy out, the team would like somebody on the board who has been in a similar situation before and who would like to help others to be successful.
- Investing in an SME. Where we are raising finance for high growth opportunities, or completing management buy outs, there is sometimes the opportunity for an individual to invest alongside the management team. This may be in the form of equity (carefully structured from a tax point of view) or in the form of debt with an interest rate significantly greater than that of a bank deposit account, or a mixture of the two.
- Representing a VC. Where we are working on a transaction that it is in part funded by a venture capitalist there will usually be a need for a non executive director or chairman to represent the VC on the board. Whilst inevitably the final decision will rest with the Venture Capitalist they are usually happy for us to propose good candidates to them.
- Buying another business. On occasions we find that people who have successfully sold a business and made some money, after a while simply want to buy another and do it all again.
